The study highlighted the importance\/uses of plantain and the various products plantain can be processed into such as flour, chips, fried and roasted plantain among others. The study equally discussed the medical values of plantain in treatment of ulcer, diarrhoea, throat infections, asthma, low libido in man and purification of blood.
